Our Mission
Precision medicine and data science combine with wellness expertise and emotional intelligence to introduce Modelo Health. We serve moms-to-be, care teams, and clinicians. Our mission aims to bridge the gap in health disparities by empowering pregnant women through education and access to the best preventative, predictive care.
Our Founders
Modelo Health was co-founded by husband-and-wife team Nic and Trish Encina. Conceived of their own pregnancy journey and a desire to protect and optimize the health of their children and families everywhere. The company was established in 2020 and is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts.
Our Modelo Moms
By increasing health equity and addressing disparities in healthcare, Modelo Health technology helps put knowledge and power into the hands of all mothers. We recognize that each person and pregnancy is unique and so are the varied challenges one may face with obtaining with access to quality care, and our app is available in English and Spanish, with more languages coming soon.
Our Technology
Modelo Moms are a digital support village. Together, we recognize that the health of our mothers and children define the health of our communities. Informed and empowered pregnancies are safer pregnancies, and every mother should have access to the healthcare and resources that she deserves. Every app purchase grants a FREE license to a mom in need.
